No experience is necessary, and the journey is guaranteed to be FUN for ALL AGES! Launch into Howe Sound from our dock
in Gibsons Harbour to experience the nearby Pasley Island group, Keats Island, or Gambier Island, or take advantage of our
shuttle service to discover other regions of the coast such as the Sechelt Inlet, the Trail Islands or Thormanby Island.
Observe the amazing backdrops and wildlife, including seals, eagles and the occasional orca whale, from a unique and intimate perspective.
We offer a variety of half-day , day, sunset and full moon tours. Locations are determined by the guide and party members to ensure a safe and enjoyable outing.
All tours are led by experienced guides, trained in instruction and risk management. In order to ensure maximum enjoyment and minimal impact on our surroundings,
our group sizes are kept small. These Daytrips permit the explorer to take a short and scenic ferry ride from Vancouver in the morning, become one
with the ocean while paddling through some of the finest wilderness kayaking in the world and discover a scenic and charming new coast.

Half Day Tour: 'Beachcomber Coastal Explorer'
Launch into a new adventure and discover the beautiful shorelines of the lower Sunshine Coast, from a unique and intimate perspective.
These three hour tours are designed specifically for those looking for a quick escape on the water and an introduction to sea kayaking
the shores of the Sunshine Coast. No experience is necessary. Taking advantage of our conveniently located launch site in Gibsons harbour
we will jump straight into the adventure, where within minutes we will be surrounded by spectacular
west coast scenery: to one side views up the Howe Sound towards Whistler where the coastal mountains plunge into the sea,
to the other views of Vancouver Island across the Georgia Straight. Be sure to bring your cameras as seals, bald eagles, great blue herons, and river otters abound!
Duration: 3 Hours Price: $65 ea.
Kayak Day Trip: Discovering the islands, nature and wildlife of the Howe Sound'
Treat yourself to a great outdoor adventure and a fantastic day of sea kayaking as we journey through the islands of Howe Sound. Departing from Gibsons we will paddle through the waters of the Howe Sound and Georgia Straight, circumnavigating nearby Keats Island, paddling through the picturesque Pasley Island archipelago or kayaking along the bays of south Gambier Island. En route we will stop off at one of the secluded beaches or at a nearby marine park. Combine kayaking with other outdoor activities including swimming, beachcombing, birding and hiking or simply bask in the glowing sun. The day tour allows kayakers more time to explore, relax and indulge in the sights, sounds, and feel of the surrounding spectacular scenery and amazing wildlife. Join us for the perfect kayaking day adventure!

Day Trip - Kayak Tours 'A la Carte'
Come choose your own adventure and discover some of the paddling 'jewels' of the Sunshine Coast with us, on one of our 'custom built' day tours. We make this escape
EASY by taking care of everything, including professional guiding, equipment, lunch and transportation to and from anywhere on the lower Sunshine Coast
(including the Langdale ferry terminal). Destinations include paddling around the sand cliffs and tropical coloured waters of Thormanby Island and Smugglers Cove,
gliding though the picturesque Trail Islands on the Georgia Straight, or launching into the serene waters of the Sechelt Inlet.
Duration and cost depend on destinations and size of groups.

Evening Sunset Tours
Experience the beauty of the setting sun, as you glide by kayak through a reflecting sea.
We will paddle out as the day winds down and watch the sun set over the calming waters of the pacific.
It's guided and it's magical! Novice paddlers are welcome.

Full Moon Tours
Paddle through the setting sun, as the tranquility of the night sets in and phosphorescence light up the waters. Circle back to catch the full moon rising above the surrounding mountains, and then paddle back under its glow. Come Howl at the Moon with us! These guided tours run once a month. Please bring a flashlight or headlamp.

These spectacular three day weekend get-aways are led by experienced, fully certified guides who have spent years exploring this coast with it's many off shore islands, deep inlets and magnificent shorelines backed with amazing panoramic views. Be prepared to relax and enjoy the outdoors as we supply EVERYTHING including top of the line kayaking equipment, camping gear, professional guiding, transportation (if required) and all delicious meals. All you are required to bring is your own sleeping bag, personal gear, camera and sense of adventure.
Thormanby Island Tour:
Join us on this ideal get-away as we venture across Welcome Passage, on the Georgia Straight to the tropical-like Thormanby Islands. Launching from Secret Cove, we will paddle along the jagged shorelines exploring hidden Smugglers Cove before heading over to the sandy shores of North Thormanby Island. During this three day trip we will paddle through the unique geology of the north and south islands, the spectacular west-coast scenery and the amazing wildlife including seals, eagles, osprey, and the occasional deer. We will camp in beautiful wilderness settings and leave time for other enjoyable activities including swimming and hiking.

Gambier Island & Howe Sound Tour:
Come discover the beauty and amazing wilderness variety present in the Howe Sound. From sheltered island bays against a backdrop of towering Coastal mountains to views of lush rainforests, cascading waterfalls and active seal haul-outs, this tour offers the ultimate outdoor experience! This tour will allow you to discover by sea kayak some of the numerous islands and waterways present in the Howe Sound including the often forgotten Gambier, Anvil, Keats, and Pasley Islands. From the deck of your kayak or the summit of an island peak, spectacular views of the sound are guaranteed.

Howe Sound Outrigger Race: July 7th & 8th, 2007
Come paddle with us as we catch the action of the 2006 Howe Sound Outrigger Race from the best possible seats! Touted as one of the top ten outrigger races in the world and the largest paddling event of its kind in Canada, this race attracts racers from throughout North America. During this tour we will paddle out amidst the spectacular scenery of the Howe Sound and 'raft up' to view the racers round one of the nearby islands. Great excitement and excellent viewing! Fireworks Tour: July 27, 2007 Come view the Gibsons sky light up from the best seats in the house! Join us as we join in the celebration of the annual Sea Cavalcade, returning to the harbour from our sunset tour as night falls. Call for special departure times.

September 8th: Salmon and Oceans Festival:
The Salmon & Ocean Festival will take place on Saturday September 8 in Gibsons Landing and will include educational displays, events centered around the ocean including cuisine from our restaurants and a family street dance. Special guided kayak tours, focusing on intertidal and fish interpretation will be provided. Check back soon for more details.
