Our rental fleet consists of a variety of Single, Double and Triple (double with centre hatch) kayaks that fit a wide range of body sizes and paddling abilities. A variety of plastic, fibreglass and kevlar models from Current Designs, Necky and Nimbus kayaks are available. Please be sure to indicate any specific requests upon reservation.
Reservations are highly recommended, in order to ensure boat availability.
All kayak rentals include: Paddle(s), Sprayskirt, P.F.D (lifejacket), Whistle, Bilgepump, Regulation Throw Line, Paddle Float (for singles), Spare Paddle, laminated map of the area and a dockside safety orientation to ensure that your experience is safe and enjoyable!
Free transportation foam racks and straps are available for those choosing to transport kayaks.

We strongly suggest that you 'try before you buy' and now offer loyal renters the opportunity to SAVE BIG! With our new Frequent Renter Program, you can apply UP TO $350 in rental fees to the purchase of a New fibreglass or kevlar kayak, or UP TO $150 to the purchase of a New rotomolded Plastic Kayak! - Renters must sign a waiver assuming the responsibility of the equipment and one of personal responsibility. Those under 19 years of age must have a signed consent from a parent or guardian.
- Any damaged or lost gear will be charged to the renter at full retail price.
Rental fees apply from the reservation start time.
- Late returns will charged at a rate of $10/ hour. Exceptions may be made due to unsafe paddling conditions.
Rental reservations are rain or shine - exceptions may be made due to unsafe paddling conditions
- Renters under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult trained in self rescues, unless paddling in a double kayak
- In the interest of safety, individuals looking to paddle alone will be asked to describe a solo self rescue to the satisfaction of our rental staff. If you are unable to do so, bring a friend!
- PFD's (lifejackets) must be worn at all times while on the water
- Kayakers seeking to purchase a kayak may apply up to $350 in rental fees to the purchase of a new kayak. For more information on this please click here.

Reservation and Cancellation policies:
We try and remain as understanding, flexible and fair as possible with regard to kayak cancellations. Please note that our policy is such that a 72 hour cancellation notice is required in order to avoid any charge. Within 72 hours, there is a 50% charge on all cancellations. Less than 24 hours notice or no shows will be charged the full rental rate. Depending on conditions, credit for future rentals may be offered.
Damaged boat and equipment policy:
It is the responsibility of the renter to check out all rental equipment as you will be charged full retail value for any damage or loss. All equipment will be checked on return.

Our professional and dedicated staff to this wonderful sport will be pleased to outfit you with our top of the line paddling gear. As enthusiastic paddlers throughout to Sunshine Coast, they can help you plan a trip suited to your skills and sense of adventure. Our company is a member of the Sea Kayak Guides Alliance of BC and we conduct our activities under their guidelines.
